Ticket Booking

Eurostar has adopted a very user-friendly technique of ticket booking and ticket collection for its customer. Eurostar train tickets booking can be done online worldwide using internet. Eurostar Reservation is done using Amadeus. Amadeus is a computer reservation system owned by the Amadeus IT Group. This simply means that any passenger can get his ticket booked from anywhere in the world using internet as is one in case of airline ticket booking.

Ticket Collection

And for the collection of the tickets Eurostar uses e-ticket machines installed at every station. They use touch screen technology to guide the passenger. They provide passenger with the 8 or 6 character Elgar reference or 9F locator. The passenger has to enter this code in the e-machine placed at every station at the ticket office or check-in areas. Whole ticket including receipt will be printed.

Lost or Stolen Tickets

No refunds are provided in case of lost or stolen tickets lost or stolen tickets. However if the loss is reported 24hours before the departure time of the particular train, a police report has been made and it can be verified that the tickets have not been exchanged, then replacement tickets can be issued with an administration fee of £15.
