Travel to London or Liverpool

London CityI had planned a weekend away and had in mind London or Liverpool. No doubt, London is a city with much more charm than Liverpool (at least from what I’ve read and seen in pictures). But the fact of having only a weekend and find a large range of low cost flight to Liverpool airport made me wonder.

London is the capital of England, a huge city with many places to visit. The trip to London are recommended to at least be no less than three days and three nights, so it is available this time is advisable to wait for another time.

By contrast Liverpool is a much smaller city, barely a million inhabitants that can be easily seen during a short weekend. With the arrival of low cost airlines must travel to Liverpool for a bargain, affordable for all budgets. Besides the city of Liverpool is something cheaper than London, so you can find cheap accommodation and cheap restaurants.

In short I think I will decide by Liverpool, but for another time, with more time and a little more money, will travel to London without hesitation. There is also another option to reach London rather than flights which is Eurostar train. Eurostar trains runs between London to Paris and Brussels via Chunnel (under sea). It is also called Chunnel train which takes just 2 hrs. and 15 minutes to reach London to Paris and 1 hr and 50 minutes between London to Brussels. So if you are planning to get London from Western Europe, this is the good option to reach London in less time.

Why Pre-book Airport Parking

Filed under: Travel — admin @ 11:42 am

One of the few things that travellers consider when going on holiday is where they’re going to park their car. If you’re getting dropped off at the airport by friends or family and the airport is only a few miles away the of course there is no problem. But if you live many miles from London and you need a lift to Gatwick then there won’t be many offer’s of a lift.

Which means you will have to drive to the airport yourself, which is where airport car parking comes into play. Now if you just arrive at Gatwick for instance and pay what is called the gate price you can expect to be charged up to £13 per day so a two week break could turn out very costly.

But don’t panic, this can be avoided by pre-booking your Gatwick airport parking first you can pay as little as £6 a day which is nearly half the amount of the gate price. So you can see pre-book your airport parking you can make some great savings and put them to better use than paying an inflated gate price.

A great website to do this at is flypark.co.uk which provides airport parking & airport hotels at all major UK airports all at discounted rates to the airport drive on prices

It should be noted then that since 1965 takes place this traditional feast at the end of August, when the tourists from all over the country take the opportunity to move to the capital. The festival itself aims to commemorate the celebrations of the liberation of African American people, especially of the people in from Trinidad and Tobago, who suffered most from the oppression on his arrival in the islands.

One of the main attractions are there in this meeting in the streets of London has to do with the costumes of bright colors and sequins, plus of course the music that comes mainly from Caribbean and Africa.

One of the most repeated recommendations to do with the presence of Portobello market as part of celebrations on Saturday, where hundreds of street artists show and sell their art derisory amount.
